Getting better at being a tourist in China

After almost two weeks on the road we’ve been getting better (or lucky) at finding suitable camping spots, place to cook lunch or staying at a locals’ home!

We stayed with some friends who are performers and they had snakes in their room! We were fairly scared when it was let out on our bed!
It was a cold day to cycle but we were very stoked to find a fancy table to make something hot for lunch
This public park was big, hilly and had lots of sheltered walkways and made a great place for morning tea!
We usually find a suitable camping spot near the highway where they have trees and grass and a running river. You don’t realise how vital water is until you don’t have access to it
This shop owner provided us dinner when we came to buy some ice cream (it was a hot day). We had an awesome night eating and talking about our different lives. We are now all WeChat friends!

Sometimes I get to navigate, other time Matt gets to navigate. This day was Matt’s turn and his app took us to this mountain road before crossing the river to the next province. Can you spot Matt?

This was Matt coming down, enjoy the 30 second clip! After watching this comment how you felt watching this…

A) Excited
B) Scared
C) Worried
D) I'm backing out
E) B, C and D
